World Cup is over now. But a week ago, Singapore's anti-gambling campaign went wrong after Germany's victory over Brazil.
According to several media reports, Singapore's National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) had a anti-gambling advertisement feature about a child whose father bet on Germany. But things went wrong when Germany defeated Brazil 7 to 1 last week, as the anti-gambling message seemed become a pro-gambling message.
Today, when the Germany officially won the World Cup, the NCPG changed (or updated?) the slogan. The new one become appropriate again.
