SEARC decided to play an awarded documentary, The act of Killing. It is a documentary about the Indonesian anti-communist purge during 1965–1966.
The screening will take place at 4 pm in Room 1406, Academic Building 2, on March 14 (Friday).
At the same day, SEARC will have Dr Frank Dhont to talk about Indonesia during the Japanese occupation period.
Dr Frank Dhont is a graduate from Department of History, Yale University and is currently the Chair of the International Indonesia Forum.
The lecture will be held from 1.30 – 3 pm at Y7601, Lift 4, Academic Building 1 (AIS Meeting Room) on March 14.
